I used to buy everything (except Primal Fear, which sucks), but my interest waned at about the same time as his interest in melody. This describes my feelings well. The times of Promised Land, The Fugitive and even Snow Falling on Cedars are long left behind us Hopefully you've at least looked into Snow White and the Huntsman and Maleficent, two very wonderful and highly melodic recent scores of his? If not, consider them recommended.

I used to, like I used to do with Horner, Goldsmith, Williams etc. - I had about 1500 physical CDs up to a few years ago but got rid of almost all of them, mainly because we moved and also because the general quality of scores just slowly went downhill - at least what I call a good and listenable-on-its-own score, and I kept only a small portion of them. As far as JNH is concerned, he had his best times with all the Shyamalan scores, they brought out the absolute best in him. I wish his fabulous PRETTY WOMAN score would see the light of day. My all time No. 1 JNH score will always be THE PRINCE OF TIDES with its achingly beautiful and bittersweet orchestral fabrics, themes and melodies - but I couldn't bring myself to listen to Barbra Streisand's (unused) closing song "Places That Belong To You" (written also by JNH) ever again because that was when I had broken up with my first wife and just thinking of the heartbreaking lyrics, together with JNH's melody and Barbra's incredible voice, would have burst me into tears, even all those years later (and yes, I'm happily married again, but still).

I am a JNH completist. And if someone has the complete list of his work in pop music etc. as a composer, arranger and conductor, I'd like to get it ! Same goes for Michael Kamen, by the way. I'm a JNH fan since I saw 8 MILLIONS WAYS TO DIE in 1986 and I think he's still one of the best. He could be a perfect choice to replace James Horner on the AVATAR sequels. Do you have the two single releases I linked to from Wildcats and Tap?

Anyone collecting all his stuff? Yes. 114 CDs from JNH here. Physical CDs only, of course. WHAT ???? I`ve got 75 JNH albums and I always thought that I`ve got him quite complete. Would you please be so kind to post a list of your albums?

Not a JNH completist -- nor do I have any intention to be one -- but he's in my Top 10 composer list, and I disagree with those who constantly say 'he's not as good as he used to'. Give him something to work with, and he'll deliver; like the HUNGER GAMES scores or MALEFICENT. Same here, I have most of his works and he came along after Goldsmith passed as my new favorite of living composers. Love his Postman and Unbreakable scores tremendously

I was - until this month when I decided I had to ruthlessly prune my ridiculously huge collection and put a few of his in the 'I-don't-really-need-this pile'. (I.E. 'Restoration', 'The Nutcracker', 'My Best Friend's Wedding', 'Runaway Bride' and a few others).
