Looks like Beverly Garland to me.

My guess is that is Mari Blanchard; but I have no idea what the movie is.

We at least know it's an Allied Artists movie and most likely from the fifties.

A sequel to an earlier film with the same main character. Same writer, same director, same composer, same cinematographer, same producers, but a totally different cast.

But that's a Universal movie.

I still think it's maybe a 1956 western directed by Roger Corman.

Not the one I'm thinking of. I think "mgh" has it right.

She never appeared in a western for Allied Artists (nor any other Allied Artists film for that matter).

Sorta reminds me of Mary Beth Hughes in Last of the Wild Horses, if you eliminate Doris Day, Beverly Garland, and Jane Fonda.

I know, but maybe Allied Artists distributed it to Japan? I hope we learn what this is soon, very curious about it.

I think MGH hit the right leading lady. It jogged a distant memory of a Saturday matinee way back in the mid-50's and I recalled visions of her and John Ericson, and, going to IMDB I confirmed this Blanchard/Ericson credit. Sounds like a sequel but it wasn't.

Congratulations, Sturges, you are right on the money. Wish I could have remembered it.

And on IMDb there's a poster image from the movie with the same shot of Blanchard on it.

And John Ericson is still alive!

Again, thanks, Chickenhearted, but sturges47 really should get the credit.
