Chad Seiter, whose 2013 score to the game Star Trek (http://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=94257) stands proudly beside Giacchino's scores to the nuTrek films, sadly has very few scores released -- but now he has a new one!

This is not as powerful a score as Star Trek -- it has less of a cinematic feel and exists more in support of longer gameplay, I think -- but at it's best it's really lovely and strong, demonstrating Seiter's talent. I really hope he has the chance in the near future to spread his wings on a project, whether video game or film, that gets him more recognition.

Just chiming in here -- one of the best scores of 2016 is to a video game, and it was composed by Chad Seiter. And if you like Seiter's ReCore, don't miss Jeff Kurtenacker's WildStar vols. 1 and 2.

This is better than his Star Trek video game score as it shows Seiter can write his own great original score.

this is not even close to star trek nor lego jurrasic world and fracture.its much better than all the rcp crap though.this one has highlights.its modern music with a classic touch.i prefer wildstar which is classic with a modern touch.the other way around instantly bores me.ist by no means bad music though.the long build up and massive payoff in the long action tracks is really great.

The only way to get this one in lossless format where I live is from 7digital and the album is priced at 15.99€ (approx $18). Damn.

Listening to the main theme now. I like his choice of instruments- melismastic female vocal with rock drums, Electric guitar and tasteful orchestration- something I haven't heard for video games in a while. Nothing earth shattering harmonically but it doesn't have to be. Props to Chad for using the celli section to Carry the theme for a stretch. No one does that anymore. And nice build in orchestral thickness and dynamics. Again, I haven't heard this approach in a while. Nice stuff.

I am still listening to this a lot. The track called "The Cradle" is definitely one of my favorites of the year. Hopelessly addictive!

Finally getting around to listening to this today.

At times it brings back memories of Christophe Beck's wonderful score to the film, Edge of Tomorrow. Not sure if anyone got that vibe?

no, thank you.keep up the good work.its a shame so little of your music is officialy released.now with symphony of the godess ending, a multi cd set should be considered.or volumes.and star trek tvg is simply phenomenal and deserves a complete score release.one of the greatest action-adventure scores of the last decade.really elevated the material.fracture and lego jurassic world are also great.recore took a while for me to "click" but when it did i got addicted to the cradle and prime core and the main title and end title.not the biggest fan of modern music but when its done right like here it is fantastic.only heard shitty youtube recordings of the pokemon symphony but again more lovely fantasy music.can´t wait for your next score. :-)

This is a seriously fantastic score which I have been obsessively listening to for a few months now. The combination of drumkit, voices, electronics and orchestra achieves one of the most dynamic balances I have heard.

The main theme performed in various guises but finds its most expressive footing in the end credits where Tina Guo's work is magnificent.

The action stuff is dynamic and bizarrely some of the tracks remind of the fun of the opening title of The Goonies, but with much more volume.

It also seems to me like Chad Seiter has been channelling some 90s Patrick Doyle here as a lot of the string movements in cues like Corrupted remind me of Carlito's Way and Dead Again, though they are wholly original.

One of the best scores of the year for sure. Can't wait to see what this talent does next.

If you want an illustration of how Carlito's Way awesome this score is, please listen to the following track from about 2:45.
