Actually Jarre's music was thrown out and replaced by an Hans Zimmer score, and that's what EMI released (Universal Music France issued some of Jarre's score on an album with his chucked-out Something Wicked This Way Comes).

My error; I'm not sure how that got into my head. And actually, it was Georges Delerue's score that was tossed, not one from Jarre.

In 2002's SPIDER-MAN, Bill Nunn played the role of "Joseph 'Robbie' Robertson." In the Marvel universe, Robertson was one of the first African-American characters in comics to play a serious supporting role, rather than act as comic relief. He is a high-ranking editor at the New York newspaper The Daily Bugle and a close friend and confidant of publisher "J. Jonah Jameson" (J.K. Simmons), acting as a voice of reason in Jameson's campaign to discredit Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire). He is more friendly and supportive of Peter Parker and his alter ego Spider-Man as well as the other Bugle staffers than is the brash Jameson.

Sam Raimi directed the blockbuster film. Columbia/Sony released a CD of songs from the film as well as a full CD of Danny Elfman's score.

In PEOPLE I KNOW, a New York press agent (Al Pacino) must scramble when his major client (Ryan O'Neal) becomes embroiled in a huge scandal. Bill Nunn is a fiery Al Sharpton-like "Reverend Lyle Blunt." Daniel Algrant directed the 2002 film. Terence Blanchard's score was released by Decca Records.

Nunn had a small part in the 2003 legal thriller RUNAWAY JURY. Gary Fleder (KISS THE GIRLS) directed the film, which was based on a John Grisham novel. Christopher Young's score was released by Varese Sarabande.

I`ve always wondered how it comes that Chris Young got the assignment since Fleder is most known for working with Mark Isham (since they first collaborated on Kiss The Girls). Was Isham busy with other scores or what?

Nunn reprised his role of "Joseph 'Robbie' Robertson" in the 2004 sequel SPIDER-MAN 2. Sam Raimi again directed. Danny Elfman's score was augmented by music from five additional composers. Columbia/Sony again released both a song and a score CD.

IDLEWILD was a musical set in the Prohibition-era American South, where a speakeasy performer and club manager "Rooster" (Antwan A. Patton, aka Big Boi) must contend with gangsters who have their eyes on the club, while his piano player and partner "Percival Jenkins" (André Benjamin) must choose between his love, "Angel Davenport" (Paula Patton) or his obligations to his father (Ben Vereen). Bill Nunn had a minor role as "GW." Bryan Barber wrote and directed the 2006 film.

Antwan Patton and André Benjamin were hip-hop artists better known as the duo "Outkast." Originally, IDLEWILD was written as a music video treatment, until the success of Outkast's album "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below" encouraged them to expand it into a feature film. The film was going to premiere on HBO, but it was ultimately decided to release it in theaters. LaFace/Zomba Records released the song score for the film. A promo recording was prepared of John Debney's score.

Nunn reprised his role of "Joseph 'Robbie' Robertson" in the 2007 sequel SPIDER-MAN 3. Sam Raimi again directed. Christopher Young scored the film (with an assist from Deborah Lurie and John Debney) using some themes from Danny Elfman's prior scores. No score CD has been released, but Record Collection Music issued a CD of songs "from and inspired by" the film.

Sean Combs starred in the television production of A RAISIN IN THE SUN, based on the 1959 play of the same name by Lorraine Hansberry. The play had been filmed once before, in 1961, when Sidney Poitier played the role now played by Combs--"Walter Lee Younger," a man living in poverty in a dilapidated two-bedroom apartment on Chicago's south side. Walter's plan to move up in the world is to invest in a liquor store in partnership with "Willy" (Ron Cephas Jones) and "Bobo" (Bill Nunn), street-smart acquaintances of Walter's. Nunn, Combs, and most of the other lead cast had been in a Tony award-winning 2004 revival of the play on Broadway.

Kenny Leon (THE WIZ LIVE!) directed the 2008 television film, which aired on ABC. Mervyn Warren's score was released by BSX Records.

Loosely based on real-life events, WON'T BACK DOWN tells the story of a single mom (Maggie Gyllenhaal) who teams up with a disillusioned teacher (Viola Davis) to transform a failing public school into a charter school. Bill Nunn plays "Principal Holland," head of the failing school. It was his last role in a feature film. Daniel Barnz directed the 2012 drama. Marcelo Zarvos' score was released as a download by Lakeshore Records.

Bill Nunn's last acting role was in the television series "Sirens". "Sirens' was an comedy series loosely based on the British series of the same name. The American version was adapted by actor Denis Leary and screenwriter Bob Fisher. The series follows the work lives of three Chicago EMT paramedics with the Eminent Ambulance Company and the unusual—often crude or humorous—situations and people in need of their assistance. Michael Mosley starred as "Johnny Farrell, a Chicago paramedic. Bill Nunn played "Cash," a Vietnam veteran EMT who enjoys Twix and had his name legally changed to Cassius Clay. The series aired for two seasons on the USA cable television network from March 6, 2014, through April 14, 2015.

Just thought I'd add one passed over. First thing I recall seeing him in:

1992 saw the release of SISTER ACT. Whoopi Goldberg played Reno lounge singer Deloris van Cartier. After witnessing her mobster boyfriend (Harvey Keitel) murder someone, she goes to the police, where Nunn's "Detective Eddie Souther" arranges for her to hide out in a convent until she can testify, much to the chagrin of the convent's Mother Superior (Maggie Smith).

The film was written by Paul Rudnick as a Bette Midler vehicle, but as it was re-written several times over, he opted for a pseudonym: Joseph Howard. Directed by Emile Ardolino (DIRTY DANCING), the film ended up the sixth-highest grossing movie of 1992 and spawned a sequel the following year.

The Hollywood Records album featured 12 minutes of Marc Shaiman's underscore, as well as Goldberg's musical numbers which were arranged by the composer.

I didn't realize that he was the son of the legendary NFL and Steelers scout by the same name. The youmger's death in PGH tipped me off. Damn. His dad died only a year or two ago himself.

R.I.P. Liked his work as an actor, especially in Regarding Henry.
