Guy Farley recorded his score for Bear Grylls' ENDEAVOUR this weekend at Abbey Road Studios with the 60-piece orchestra.
During his 2016 tour Bear Grylls will be visiting 12 arenas across the UK and Ireland starting on Friday October 7-8th at London The SSE Arena, Wembley to take audiences on an immersive expedition. Brimming with action-packed stunts and using ground-breaking technology, Bear will be your guide through treacherous landscapes across the globe, and celebrating some of the greatest feats of courage, endurance and endeavour over the ages.
Thanks for the clips interesting he comes on UK TV a lot some of the stuff he eats I don't know how he can do it, His stomach is like a billy-goat but I suppose if the worst came to the absolute worst I suppose I would have to eat insects or cow's eyes. A good series just not when your eating your dinner.
I doubt anyone outside UK has ever heard of him... must be one of the local celebrities that are completely unknown outside their country... but... the show seems to be doing quite well and it is worth attending just to hear the music - I wouldn't hesitate a second if I lived in or near any of the cities this will be in - as the score is quite spectacular...
The main theme can be heard (just briefly and probably not in its complete version) around 1:45-2:03. In its full version that just keep going and growing and it's just one of those fantastic unforgettable cues! and there is so much the score has to offer! Including some of the terrific dramatic cues.
I really hope the score will get released one day as the music this good just HAS to be heard!
Yes guy Farley is a very-good composer I have a few of his scores maybe movie score media will release Endeavour they do release unusual soundtracks. Maybe email them see what they think. If it gets a release I will pick it up.
