THE LION KING---Walt Disney Pictures live-action remake underway of its 1994 movie. Jon Favreau (THE JUNGLE BOOK, IRON MAN) is the director.
JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2---synopsis and a photo of John Wick and his new dog were released.
"Keanu Reeves returns in the sequel to the 2014 hit as legendary hitman John Wick who is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers."
DOCTOR STRANGE---Rachel McAdams plays nurse Christine Palmer who "is someone [Strange] connects with at the beginning, and reconnects with, and helps anchor his humanity."
THE WALKING DEAD---Frank Darabont's lawsuit against AMC is seeking over $280 million in profits he claims he is owed after he was fired.
THE STRAIN---FX renewed the series for Season 4 which will be the last season.
SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING---a rumor claims Nightwatch will be among the movie;s villains.
NICK FURY---Samuel L. Jackson commented on when Nick Fury will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, "They’ll bring me back somehow, some way, for some reason. I mean, they didn’t have me around to referee the kids when they didn’t go to their rooms and got in this big old fight. We’ll see what happens.”
WIDOWS---US movie remake of the British tv series about three widows who finish the bank heist job in which their husbands were killed. Viola Davis stars. Steve McQueen is the director. Gillian Flynn is the writer.
JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE---Warner Bros./Toho live action movie underway based on the manga.
