Dam I liked them fights a lot Aaron never ducked any one, 1 of the best light welters around in the early 80's to late 80's dominator, his fight record was 39-1-35 KO'S his only loss was to a no body, Bobby Joe Young. he beat Alexis Arguello in 82 & 83 which at the time Alexis was ranked the best in the division. Such a shame heart ailment at 61 way to young, will be missed farewell Champ. R.I.P. Aaron Pryor.
I was a huge fan of Alexis Arguello and was immensely disappointed with his losses to Pryor. Sorry to see anyone die so young, but I've always wondered...anybody ever check to see what was in that bucket in Pryor's corner?
Being honest all boxers from around the late 60's & up to this day are still Juiceing back then they were all at it checking for drugs in boxers was very lapse no one was really asking for check ups before fights.

Pryor fought like a man possessed, particularly in the first win over Arguello. And his corner kept dousing him between rounds from that bucket...
Yes they did. There probably the best 2 fights out of the 5 best ever boxing matchs what I've seen there was no let up. I liked both boxers great fighters big hearts proper showman that won't be forgot, R.I.P to both warriors elite fighters.
