There is another thread "these phrases need to go away" and also "In movies don't you just hate it when.." The above mentioned saying came up and it continues to come up. SO, instead of just posting 'alerts' I decided to start a thread dedicated to the eradication of this heinous and seemingly indestructible trope.
Im sure there was one i saw in old episodes of both Unforgettable and The Closer recently.
Undoubtedly it was NCIS st some point.
There is also another alternate Version of this starting to creep in. Where a cop who is down the pecking order in a department says "Dont look at me, its above my pay grade!"
