Oh dear, this has to be the least requested reunion of 'talent' for a very long while. With the help of spotify, I could piece this score together before it comes out.
At least the Edelman score had the dignity of being old-man-pees-pants embarrassing with the Van Tongeren music bringing in a bit of levity. This will sound EXACTLY like the 100 scores Tyler has done since 2008.

exactly..it makes life so easy: we already know perfectly how it's gonna be, note by note, synthetized drum thud by synthetized drum thud..and also the next 100 scores..and each one is going to be given a thread hailing it like it's some Jerry Goldsmith undiscovered masterpiece. And it's a money saver, too: just buy one cd (if you want to subject yourself to the ear splitting , brain numbing barrage, that is) and you have them all!

And we fans of Brian Tyler know that this score will prompt a bunch of pompous, pointless posts from a few narrow minded folk who think great movie music ended when Goldsmith pegged it and who fail to recognise the sort of progressive music Goldsmith himself would probably be writing today if he we still alive.
Hopefully Morello's involvement will be better this time around than on xXx2: State of the Union.
I'd love to see the score for xXx2: State of the Union get an official release. The clips on Beltrami's website are very entertaining. Its kind of dark-funky sound is quite unusual.

I agree. It's sort of Blaxploitation-meets-A-Team! Although unfortunately I'm not sure the score will get a release anytime soon (if ever) as I don't think Beltrami and Co. look back on it very fondly...but then again that hasn't stopped things from being released before under similar conditions with other composers (i.e. Jade)

Pity if that true. IMO, it's one of his most entertaining scores.
I was hoping that, based on SotU, Beltrami would do this film. I'm sure Tyler will do a good job. As for the film, it looks so moronic, I can't not see it.
Wow, was that really worth a post? What does that have to do with the score? It's just a way of looking at the title of the movie. Honestly no offense, but that's getting a little carried away. And you used an exclamation point as your post message icon...?
I hope Brian Tyler pays you well, because for sure you're terrific at PR and "buzz-creation"...even more remarkable, because, really, there's no substance, neither in the movies, nor in the scores he churns out with computerized steadiness.
