This is a great sale.

It looks like a couple of titles have been added to low qty alert. (possibly others that I didn't notice)

CHIPS VOL. 1: SEASON TWO (1978-1979)
THE SPLIT

Both of these are great titles.

In fact all three Chips Volumes have great disco tinged music from Alan Silvestri. You buy one volume but you honestly need all three.

Volume 1 is the best, hands down in my opinion. Volume 3 is second, and Volume 2 has some good cues on it, but overall would be in a fourth or fifth place slot had there been mroe volumes.

Speaking of that, I want a Volume 0 of score from season one, which features a composer line up of: Mike Post & Pete Carpenter(3), John Parker (5), Robert Drasnin (4; Drasnin says four, but he's only credited for two), J. J. Johnson (2), Nelson Riddle (1), and Billy May (4).

Plus, we'd get to hear that rejected theme music by Post & Carpenter that FSM's Volume 1 mentioned. A "CHiPs" theme from the guys who brought us such themes as:
"Magnum, pi"
"The Rockford Files"

Hell yeah, bring that on!

Actually it's a great sale but I can't afford those expensive shipping costs to Spain (also when they almost force you to pay extra 25$ for registered shipment as they say lot of packages get lost) frown

FEWER THAN 25
LOGAN’S RUN (TV SERIES 1977)

Regarding this title, Lukas Kendall said in an earlier thread in october 2011 : "We have pressed 2500 of the 3000-copy limited edition of which 394 are in stock."

I'm not familiar at all with the general rules in the soundtrack industry so, does this mean there are still 500 copies to be pressed after the first batch has sold out? And if so, will they be pressed? Or is it eventually a "it may -- it may not" situation?

Since it took 5 years to sell some 300 copies, I doubt there is enough interest to repressed the remaining 500.

Bought the Bernstein Filmmusic Collection and the Rozsa Treasury. Playing the Bernstein and it is superb. Highly recommended to all. Fully anticipate the Rozsa will be well-worth the price as well.

I, too, finally pulled the trigger and bought Elmer Bernstein's Film Music Collection while on sale. Got it on Friday and have already listened to a couple of discs. Really, really impressive! Anybody who's been thinking about this should swallow hard and buy it before it's gone forever.

I keep trying to check out at SAE and I can't get anywhere. I anyway I try to get to the check out page, it takes me here:

https://www1.screenarchives.com/checkout/account.cfm

And the page doesn't load. This has never happened before.

EDIT:
I took the "s" off https and got passed it, but it asked me to log in again, and taking the "s" off that doesn't help at all. This is new. I've never had this problem before.
