Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is a 2015 video game where you start in a deserted town in Shropshire, England. As you walk through the town, the story unravels to reveal what happened to all of the people who lived there.
What really helps the game is Jessica Curry's music. For most of the game, there is a beautiful sense of sadness which Curry portrays perfectly. It is a mix of somber choral music and emotional themes (usually performed with a minimalist touch). It won Best Music at the 12th Annual British Academy Games Awards
This is a fantastic score, and I believe we raved about it quite a bit last year. Certainly the best videogame score of the year -- put into extra poignant context with Curry's unfortunate health situation.

I don't think it was talked about on here. At least the search function tells me that there's nothing.
I'm not sure about FSM, in particular, but it certainly made its rounds in other forums I'm frequenting. It was also nominated for an IFMCA award for best videogame score last year.
I went as far as to listen to track samples from this album, yet still am hesitating to buy it. All this despite my adoration for strong emotionally-resonant and ambient-style beauty. Can't figure out what gives me pause...
