I found the score to be very engaging and enjoyable. Lush-beautiful and a bit dark at times. Abel is still batting a 1.000 with me. Going to listen to the Penny scores next.
This is a very good score--the Herrmann influence in the strings is very obvious and nice. But the "Revenge" cue blatantly rips off Philip Glass's famous "Islands" piece. Took me right out of the film when I saw it, and also chafes a bit when listening to the score on album.
