Hey, slow day at home and browsed through Spotify for some John Barry. Came across two "Best of" compilations by someone called the Philharmonic Wind Orchestra. I checked it out expecting some terrible synth stuff. But instead a rather good (if you enjoy an - almost - all wind orchestra) set of recordings. There are several Bond entries - actual medleys of different themes (in plural) from the films, not just the main title themes that have been done again and again.
As far as I can see these have gone under the radar here on the forum.
Check them out, they have obviously been done by some real Barry fans.
Thanks for pointing this out. This group has countless albums on Spotify, lots of Cinema (I think I saw vol. 55), 2 vols on Zimmer, three on Silvestri....
