Anyone know if the 140 minute Washington premier had an Intermission.

I only have the vinyl LP but the last track on side one (Task Force) sounds very impressively like the conclusion to the first half of an epic movie.

This is discussed in the liner notes of the Intrada album, but I don't have them handy at the moment. If I recall correctly, "Medley" is the track in question. I may be wrong though.

Thanks for this Nicholas. If there was an Intermission the track called Medley sound more like the Entr'acte into part 2.

An entry on the IMDB claims that the 140-minute version of the film ran only once--when it screened at the 35th Cannes Film Festival in May 1982. But another item says that the original cut screened at Cannes ran over three hours. A third item says that the 140-minute version had a special one-night-only premiere in Washington, DC, in May 1981. And yet a fourth item says that the Washington DC showing was the only time the film was screened in its 140-minute full version.
