Roger says:

Intrada revisits an earlier Special Collection release from the 70s. It was a straight reissue then, now it's fully expanded and features better sound since now we had access to the master elements in the studio's vault.

Nonsense! It can't be a Special Collection from the seventies. The series just started in 2001

razz

Further more: Day of the Locust would be nice. Or Bernstein's Gold.

Could be very interesting. Intrada have released some great seventies albums, usually from the UMG catalogue, so for one of them they now have the complete original score, there's a few of those I'd like very much, but I'm not going to put the boggers in it by naming any score, I'll just keep my fingers crossedsmile

Could be Cinderella Liberty by Williams.

There was something like 1 cue missing from Locust, Roger said waiting or pursuing that cue would have scuttled the project. It's a scene where the two leads are romping around on a date.
Mary is much more likely, missing more.
James, do you want the original back if that's the case? Lol jk. ;-)

Seriously, The Last Valley would be awesome.

Hopefully its Cinderella Liberty!

Here's a list of all the titles in their Special Collection line; Narrow this down to 70s titles where the CD was a straight LP reissue and we have our list of candidates

I think The Hindenburg was the first of their UMG album releases, big news at the time, as it signalled the opening of the UMG vaults, & is a fine score...& there were lots of goodies to follow. I suppose The Last Valley would be too much to ask for (the music tracks probably long since junked), but I understand it is with Disney now, but...no.

John Addison's Swashbuckler could do with having better sound, the album tapes had a lot of noise on them & The Last Valley seemed to have a lot of noise reduction applied, but that bothered some other people more than it did me.

My wish would be for Elmer Bernstein's Gold, or John Barry's The Last Valley.

I think we can cross "Sleuth" off, as it was discontinued. It lasted about two years. I can't imagine it being re-visited.

Whatever it is we can all rest soundly in the knowledge that it is in fact a release.

That would be awesome though I have no idea how much music is missing.

I call upon all the soundtrack gods... please, please let it be The Last Valley.

That score is brilliant, and would benefit greatly from the deluxe treatment.

No, but you can buy me a copy of the new one. ;-)
