What I know of the comic. and seeing only stills of the film is already enough. The comic characters were older and more mature; a 30 year old Alain Delon and a 28 year old Claudia Cardinale.

And what was Besson thinking, to cast those two empty-headed idiots? The script keeps trying to create the same kind of banter between Han Solo and Princess Leia, but neither of these two can manage it; all they know how to do is look pouty. And there's no chemistry between them at all.

I agree that some of it was beautiful to look at..
And yes - no chemistry between the leads..terrible acting...bad dialogue.
There was a good film in there. Just not this one.

Just never heard of her. I guess in passing I've seen pics of this person. Pretty average looking, but then again just about any female personality is called an actress/model/singer nowadays. It's all ambiguous.
