Mary Phagan just arrived today, thanks to terrific service form CSC. A very welcome Jarre score I'd never heard of, and reminiscent of School Ties from the same period. Absolutely a gem, thanks MBR.

And thanks too to CSC, first time I've used them. Great value and unbelievably fast!

I put an order for two CDs in on December 4th (NEAR DARK on BSX and Intrada's now OOP NIGHT CROSSING) and they both arrived today. I don't doubt I'll be putting another, larger order in in the next couple of days.

One assumes this is only a deal for folks in Europe. If one ordered the JURASSIC PARK COLLECTION to the U.S., the exchange rate I calculate on your 74.95 Euro pricetag equates to approximately $80 U.S. This item over at LaLaLand is $59.99 U.S., with very minimal shipping within the U.S.

In Canada, for example, your price equates to $105.00 CDN, whereas ordering it from LaLaLand to Canada would be $79.00 + shipping.

I looked at another title, WATERSHIP DOWN, and its base price is already $7.00 more than any other site with the conversion.

So, although you are offering free shipping, your markup seems enormous. Or am I missing something?

Honestly not trying to be prickly, just pointing out that unless I'm missing something this is not at all a deal for Canadian or American customers.

Unfortunately it can't be any other way, as Chris has to pay a huge amount of taxes for every release (19% including shipping!). Same as with everybody else who is not living in the US.

So yes, it's probably only a bargain if you're living in Europe ...
But for us it's an excellent occasion, so thanks a lot Chris for doing this every single year! smile

Yes! You are missing everything for US customers. The chance to get Italian and Euro scores cheaper than in US and no shipping cost-no matter ow large the order. That's a great deal for those of us who love Italian scores.
Just buy Watership Down from UK or wait till it comes to SAE. I bought mine from the label Vocalian for $15 pounds inc shipping to US.

Agreed its a generous offer on all European labels to U.S. customers & it doe's work out cheaper.
I will make an order in a couple of weeks as I do every year thanks again Chris for your generosity.

Thanks, everyone, for setting me straight. I also hadn't thought to check the Quartet titles I'm in need of. All the best.

I live in OZ and took full advantage of Chris' great offer.
I picked up Shark Rosso Nell'Oceano (I couldnt resist the cover), Quartets new edition of The Last Valley and
Bermude: La Fossa Maledetta (Cave Of The Sharks).
Thanks Chris

In addition, of course, shipments from Germany to the UK aren't hit by customs charges, which can make bulk orders from Intrada, Varese etc prohibitively expensive.

After the Brexit, they will again soon... wink

Not necessarily. There's still Gina Miller and the Supreme Court ruling. Frankly I think the British government would be secretly thrilled to stay in Europe. Judging by recent leaks, they don't have a clue how to untangle us from Europe anyway.

The UK will be part of Europe for a good while longer methinks.

There are still 93 La La Land releases in the sale for £16.73 each (plus exchange fees). That's a heck of a discount for Brits. And some of the 2CD sets are under £20. Got to be something of interest there!

The lack of interest from the European contingent in this thread is baffling. It should be buzzing with activity.

I just wish the Intradas were cheaper, I'd buy a few!

I notice they have the Prometheus release of Blow Out for a tempting £20. They also have the Intrada version but it's more expensive.

Quartet's 2-CD sets of Basic Instinct and Total Recall are about £20 too.

I'd recommend everyone who's ordered something from CSC check in their account that their CDs have been dispatched. I put through a Christmas preorder for Beverly Hills Cop on 7th December. They got the BHC stock in 13th December (says it on the front page). I was confident I'd get it by Christmas. Today, 20th, I noticed that my order was still processing so emailed them to ask about the seven day delay. Got a reply back saying they shipped it today and:

'Because we hadn't had enough copies and because we are super busy. :-)'

Not getting it for Christmas then. Disappointed. I hope no one else is in the same boat.

First time this has happened to me with CSC. I've barely bought *any* soundtracks this year because of cost, and when I finally do, something goes wrong...
