Only had time to listen to Maurice Jarre's Posse. But I managed to get to see Paths of Glory smile

Didn’t play an album but, TV here played a lot of his movies.

Yesterday I caught up with “Man Without a Star” (Very good!) and today I watched “Lust For Life”.

Tomorrow,I think it will be the Blu-Ray of “The Vikings”?

Happy 100,Kirk.

You are not alone. A gem of a film and a gem of a score. I remember especially when Kirk and his horse make their final dash for freedom. What a thrilling scene ! What glorious music to accompany it!

Thanks Joan. I remember for years he would mention both SPARTACUS and LONELY ARE THE BRAVE as his favorites. But at a certain point he decided he would narrow it down to his lesser known orphan film. And as much as I enjoy SPARTACUS I think his final choice IS his best. I drink to the "Lonely Are The Brave " table.
