Star Trek Beyond: The Deluxe Edition
Music by Michael Giacchino
2 CD Set / 5000 Units
SHIPS THIS WEEK
Order: http://tinyurl.com/jshjv9c

Audio samples are up!

Continuing our series of Deluxe Editions of our Star Trek releases and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the entire Star Trek universe, we are excited to present Michael Giacchino’s epic STAR TREK BEYOND – now expanded for this 2-CD set Deluxe Edition. Featuring over two hours of music, this is the one everybody has been waiting for.

"Star Trek Beyond," the highly anticipated next installment in the globally popular Star Trek franchise, created by Gene Roddenberry and reintroduced by J.J. Abrams in 2009, returns with director Justin Lin (“The Fast and the Furious” franchise) at the helm of this epic voyage of the U.S.S. Enterprise and her intrepid crew. In “Beyond," the Enterprise crew explores the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a mysterious new enemy who puts them and everything the Federation stands for to the test. It opened on July 22, 2016 and was immediately acclaimed as a thrilling action film. Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, John Cho and Anton Yelchin were all back. Luckily, so was Michael Giacchino! Idris Elba was a new addition as Krall.

Nice! Can't wait to hear this. Any chance for some samples?

Hope you guys will consider re-issuing ST 2009 in regular CD packaging at some stage too.

Hope you guys will consider to advice people not to buy the simple edition the next time. Cool for that Deluxe edition, but....seriously, are we only wallets?

Did anyone pressure you into buying the original album? They are very predictable with regard to their releases of Giacchino's Star Trek scores.

Fool me once; shame on you.
Fool me twice; shame on me.
Still complaining after three; what the hell?

Don't the JJ Trek single-disc releases contain tracks and mixes more complete than the Deluxe Editions?
Does anyone suspect that to be the situation here, too?

Yeah, I always wait, never buy the first release if I am pretty sure an expansion is coming. You can often pretty well guess what has an expansion on the way. But I suppose this approach does require some patience, the space between this first release and expansion is 6 months. But I can wait.

Ordered of course.

I honestly wasn't expecting this for about another year. Looks like an excellent release, IMHO. smile

Any standout tracks that were missing from the first release? Saw the film once and don't remember anything sticking out though that could be the sound mix's fault. Wish Varese was handling MG's Rogue One. Would love that expanded and know we'll never see it under Disney's rule.

I thought of the same thing when I saw how this is being presented! I made my own artwork for a jewel case presentation of ST 2009 and put the book into deep storage.
