Po Music by Burt Bacharach Song sung by Sheryl Crow
After David Wilson's young wife dies from cancer he's left a single working dad with the sole responsibility of caring for his sixth grade son with autism. Po, is a gifted but challenged child. As father and son struggle to deal with life after mom, Po drifts further away from the school where he's bullied into his magical fantasy world, the Land of Color. Based on a true story. Po is Burt Bacharach’s first major project in 10 years and features a new song with Sheryl Crow, “Dancing With Your Shadow.” The score is classic Bacharach, and “Shadow” is a piano based pop standard. Composer Joseph Bauer wrote additional music.
Thanks for this news. I love Burt Bacharach. His compositions were disparaged as "easy listening" what they are not at all. A close look not only shows the beauty but also the complexity of his arrangements. I am also looking forward to this release. Timeless classic and masterpiece his album and collaboration with Elvis Costello: Painted From Memory.
I saw a sneak peak of this with Burt Bacharach in attendance and really enjoyed the film. The theme is so tender and gorgeous. The song I think too is very moving. I'm too hopeful for a physical release of this, but right now it's digital only. Thanks for the article James from Jon in Variety!!

I am pretty sure this is going to the Oscars at best song. Not so sure about best original score but being such a strange year for good scores on prestigious movies, it could easily get in!
