I'm new here, and I'm here to inquire about Gordon Zahler's library, General Music Corp. I don't know who composed these tracks, or what films they originally came from, but I do know other things about this library such as:

They were located right next to the Walter Lantz cartoon shop.

Composers for this library include Basil Adlam, Darrell Calker, Walter Greene, Al Sack, Hans Salter, and Lee Zahler.

The library also consisted of various British music libraries. These included Impress, JW Theme Music, and Mozart Edition.

Films that used Zahler's library include Plan 9 from Outer Space, First Spaceship on Venus, and Mutiny on Outer Space.

TV series that used Zahler's library include Mr. Magoo, Bozo the Clown, and the New Three Stooges.

Help and information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone? Sorry about saying that, I'm a very impatient fellow.

He also gets a credit on "Navy vs. Night Monsters." I dont have any additional info except that his bio was written by his nephew. And I'm interested in the cue below from "Mutiny in Outer Space." I dont think much is known about the Zahler library from FSM members.
I'm sure you've seen (or contributed) to these sites:

Last Child-
Taking a wild guess on that cue you posted, I'm thinking that's by Walter Greene. MMM seems to be the only one here who seems to have sizable knowledge about Zahler's library. Guessing he can find out where that cue you posted came from.

I asked several library cue experts a few years ago, but I didnt find an email to him. Maybe I'll risk bugging him about it again.

Anyone? Sorry about saying that, I'm a very impatient fellow.

I'm Gordon's nephew, and last year published an updated biography about him: "Strange As It Seems: the Impossible Life of Gordon Zahler."
I know a lot, though not everything, about his catalogue and his career. Feel free to contact me @ chip@chipjacobs.com to learn more.
You can also explore his life and Hollywood career at this page on my website: http://chipjacobs.com/book/strange-as-it-seems/
Thanks for your interest in him. His journey through Hollywood was only half as fascinating as his journey on this planet.
