I rarely post things, but I have to give a shout out to both Screen Archives and La-La-Land.

I was affected by the massive flooding here in south Louisiana back in August.
I lost my vehicle and mobile home, along with around 80% of the contents of my home.
Gone were the majority of my cd’s, dvd’s and such.
Thankfully I did have some certain CD sets up high enough to not be affected.
I was able to save my Star Trek TOS box set and my Superman: The Music box set.

Unfortunately I had separated the 4 TOS booklets and the bound book the came with the Superman set from the cd’s themselves. Resulting in my losing the paper goods in the flood.
About 10 days ago I sent off emails to both Screen Archives and LaLaLand to inquire about obtaining replacement copies, more than willing to pay for the expense of the replacements.

Katie at Screen Archives sent me a replacement Superman book along with a Star Trek Beyond CD that I had just purchased a few days before.
Matt at LaLaLand sent me a replacement copy of all 4 of the Star Trek Booklets (The overall and the three individual season booklets) along with an Arrow S3 D1 Cd that was a replacement disc that I never received during the initial release of the discs.

Neither charged me a dime for the replacement book or booklets.

Having lost so much, nowadays i'm very grateful for what I have and thankful for what I could salvage.
I lost the majority of my cd’s, including signed copies of Tombstone and Silverado which I’m still sick about. (Sidebar here - if anyone has copies they are willing to part with, get in touch. ?)

So it means a great deal to be able to get these two very special box sets back to a complete state.

Online retailers are just a mouse click away from a competitor.
So when a retailer goes above and beyond, that should be acknowledged.
Both had no legal obligation to do what they did, but did it because “it was the right thing to do”.

A grateful customer.

Although I've never purchased directly from LLL, I've bought from SAE many times and have always found their service wonderful and their company a pleasure to do business with. Katie, in particular, is great! smile

While we are complimenting customer service I wanted to say that Intrada customer service is absolutely fantastic and flawless.

Some years ago I lived in a time and place where they were post office problems, And Doug/Roger sent me 3 copies of "Back to the future" before I could finally get the third one from the post office by threatening the post office clerk.

I was both furious about the situation and in awe of Intrada's dedication to the customer.

Ha! Had probably the same situation, but they did it only once, 'cause in my case once was enough )))
But it was NOT their own title, so in that case they even lost some money... (((
