Thor, I can't answer your question, but I did appreciate your posting about this score. Thing is, when I started listening on Spotify I found the short tracks distracting - tend to think electronica especially needs time to breathe, so I want extended versions not short statements. So I just moved to similar electronica albums that aren't hamstrung by film-music needs. The curse of Spotify - it is awfully easy to say, "enough of that, think I'll try this instead." And I didn't post cause I'm not usually much for dissing anything, don't find that too valuable or a good use of my time. I'm giving it another go.

Yes, I was kind of surprised that no one posted at all, since there is definitely a subset here who go for this sort of thing (whereas I like elements of just about every kind of approach, at least some of the time). I've started a couple of threads like this, not exactly a self-esteem builder. That's why i'm trying to make a point of at least saying something about a thread if it has any interest for me - so that the originator knows they're not just crying in the wilderness. (Hint hint to anyone else reading this!)

PS I'm enjoying this more this time around, not minding the shorter cues as much, finding more of them doing a good job rounding out the idea (even if most of them could go on for another 5-10 minutes). Just goes to show how much other factors influence our listening, and a good reason to give something multiple chances.
