Welcome to The Fall's in crowd, Tom.

You all did not seem to agree with me that Anderson's character was cold. Well, she seemed a bit cold to me. Perhaps the better word would be aloof. I did catch glimpses of vulnerability now and then like when she knew Dornan had read her diary. Yes, she was steely and competent, but I wanted her to show a few more feelings in certain circumstances. I sensed she had strong feelings under the surface but didn't want them to show. Maybe that was because of the male-dominated world she worked in. Also, I think I'll learn more about her in Season 3 and those aspects will delineate her character and her past more fully for me.

(Okay, Bill I watched some silly Terry Thomas tennis match on youtube, and it sounded like he kept saying Ahh Choo throughout. Still scratching my head. Must be a British thing.smile)

Just finished season 3.
Disappointing.

Spoiler alert:

Once Spector is committed to a mental hospital the story becomes increasingly less interesting - his scenes on the prowl were the best part of the show and talky.
Worse, the lack of supervision he receives. even after multiple assaults, is pretty hard to swallow
Also, i would have like to see more at the end concerning the fate of the 16 y/0 girl who was obsessed with him

H?

My only hope is that a new series is commissioned with her character having to tackle a new case.

Ford A. Thaxton

I can't read any spoilers yet. Season 3 is still not out on DVD's that are supported on most U.S.A. players. Hoping to get it soon.

All Spoilers ahead. Don't read if you haven't seen season 3.

Bruce said, "Worse, the lack of supervision he receives. even after multiple assaults, is pretty hard to swallow."

I agree with that statement. I'm glad some of you liked season 3, but for me, it was a let down.
The first two episodes hardly forwarded any narrative. We just watched doctors and nurses saving his life for about two hours. The filming seemed to indicate something would happen between Paul and the nurse. It went no where.

I felt that the first two seasons were great. Season 3 just seemed to wander around with a lot of filler, and I felt the ending was kind of a cop out. I wanted more, but I'm glad I watched this series, especially the first two seasons.

I would like to see it continue with our lady detective put on another murder case, but I don't think that will happen.
