I was able to finally get a copy of this marvelous Doyle score and almost 38 minutes of lovely is not enough for me.

Is there any chance we'll ever see an expansion?

Yes, this one is great! Most audiences missed this 90s Disney effort. A rousing theme in the best Williams tradition.

If anyone can, Intrada can (I would assume).

They haven't tackled any Doyle expansions yet, but hopefully that changes soon.

Personally, I consider it the least of Doyle's early scores. It's certainly good, but a bit repetitive and doesn't hold my interest as much as all his other amazing early stuff from Henry V to Needful Things to Much Ado About Nothing to Frankenstein to Dead Again to Carlito's Way...that said, I'm sure I'd still pick up an Intrada complete score release if they did one.

You know what obscure early Doyle score I would be really excited to get in complete form? Into the West.

That score is just pure MAGIC, and the soundtrack album sadly only has about 25 minutes of score, to make room for a whole slew of songs I don't care about. The album was released by SBK Records, which now seems to be owned either by UMG or EMI?

LLL and Intrada have dealt with both.

I'm not sure who would have to be approached for additional material to form a complete score release...

If it's Disney, then Intrada is obviously the only party who could tackle this.

I'm in agreement with you about the SHIPWRECKED score Yavar.
There's nowt wrong with it and it does feature a spirited and bristling, seafaring main theme, but I too lose interest after about 10 minutes or so.
It's never been a huge favourite of mine when compared to his many other scores, so I'm not that bothered about any future release of it, although it's scarcity on the market and potential for expansion is hard to ignore I suppose.

I agree with you on Into the West. I have had the cd for sometime but it definitely could use a re-release with "more score".
