Seemingly confirmed by the BBC here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-38621524

You don't need to "seemingly" confirm it. It's straight from the horse's mouth: http://www.starwars.com/news/a-statement-regarding-new-rumors

Will Smith playing an elephant? Love to see that one, particularly with enlarged ears.

And Tom Hanks as the "villain?" The only thing closest to a "villain" in the original DUMBO is a gossipy elephant, who actually says, "Have I got a trunkful of dirt for you!"

That's all we need: Tom Hanks as a gossipy female elephant...!

The mind reels.

Actor contracts are going to start including a "no posthumous avatar" clause.

Their probably considering Will Smith as the voice for Timothy Mouse. Clearly the mouse will be a talking CGI character.

I thought CGI Leia and Tarkin were perfectly acceptable in ROGUE ONE, quality-wise. They looked fine to me. By stark contrast, ATTACK OF THE CLONES struck me as annoyingly cartoonish from start to finish-- so much frantic animation plastered all over it, I wanted to rest my eyes in the middle of the film.

In the entire section with the arena battle, the FX seemed just SO ineptly handled.
Stop-motion tauntauns were brilliant by comparison.

I don't see the difference. frown
