I've read two reviews now of David Lowery's newest film that's screening at Sundance, and both of them mention Daniel Hart's "haunting" (yuk yuk, no seriously) score. Also described as "wondrous," which, if used correctly, says something about the tone and scope of the movie. I hope it lands this year, as it sounds magnificent.
Let us not forget what the critics said about Elfman's Girl On The Train score, though. So many movies sound really good coming out of Sundance, but by the time they come out for us commoners, I completely forget about 90% of them!

Love the score. Rather eclectic in style but still sufficiently coherent in mood to make for a satisfying listening experience. I hope to see the movie on the big screen sometime soon.
