I can't believe I didn't find out about this score until today. Leonard scored LULLABY three years ago, his first feature film score since WITH HONORS in 1994. He is not even credited on imdb, so I just updated it. The film is on norwegian TV tonight, I may or may not be able to see it. It's also on youtube with spanish (!) subtitles.
Anyone who saw it? How is the score? A pity that no soundtrack seems to be available.
I just watched the drama film. At times a bit tedious at almost two hours with lots of dialogue around the death bed, but it surely had its virtues, and the ending was strong stuff.
Leonard's score was quite good. Understated and piano-based, but also some scenes with drums and more power. I guess there were max 30 minutes of score in the film.
Great to see PL back doing film scores - this is only his 6th feature in over 30 years!
I do like his work on the LIVE TO TELL song/melody (from FIRE WITH FIRE & AT CLOSE RANGE) and his song production work in general. He is one of the keyboard composers who's stuff I really like. Thanks for the info FB.
FB, do you have the Best of Hemdale CD which features about 4 minutes of score from At Close Range (the only thing re score available as far as I know)?

It seems At Close Range has an isolated score on the blu-ray:
