FEUD: BETTE AND JOAN---trailer released for the FX miniseries about the feud between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford while filming WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE? Jessica Lange, Susan Sarandon, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alfred Molina and Stanley Tucci star.

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI---a rumor says Finn wears a First Order uniform and infiltrates the Super Star Destroyer command ship with Kelly Marie Tran's mystery character. Finn meets a First Order soldier he knew when he was in the First Order and is congratulated on his promotion. Finn and Tran intend to plant explosives on the Destroyer.
Poe will be involved with Laura Dern's mystery character who is supposedly a rival to Leia.
Another rumor is that Tom Hardy will have a cameo as a "celebrity stormtrooper" similar to Daniel Craig in THE FORCE AWAKENS.
PHILIP K. DICK'S ELECTRIC DREAMS---Amazon ordered ten episodes of the anthology series based on stories by Philip K. Dick whose works inspired movies including BLADE RUNNER, TOTAL RECALL and MINORITY REPORT. Ronald D. Moore and Bryan Cranston are co-producers.
THOR: RAGNAROK---photos released from the filming set.
JURASSIC WORLD 2---producer Frank Marshall posted that production on the sequel has begun.
DEADPOOL 2---Kerry Washington (SCANDAL) is auditioning for the role of Domino. Sienna Miller and Gugu Mbatha-Raw turned the role down.
STRANGER THINGS---Paul Reiser (ALIENS, MAD ABOUT YOU) commented on his role in Season 2, "They told me who I was playing and they told me what they had in mind. It was sort of nebulous — is he a good guy or a bad guy? To be honest, I’ve only read a few of the scripts so I still don’t know and I’m not sure they know. I think part of what they were tickled by was, to whatever extent people know me from ALIENS, they’re automatically going, “Oh this guy is no good.” I don’t know where they’re going with it but it’s a fun thing to play."
FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY---Vince Vaughn (HACKSAW RIDGE) will play a 1980s wrestling star who lost his fortune in this comedy biomovie about WWE star Paige. Dwayne Johnson and Lena Headey also star.
SUPERSTORE---NBC renewed the series for Season 3.
2016 ELECTION--untitled miniseries underway about the 2016 presidential race between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Mark Boal (ZERO DARK THIRTY) is the writer and may also direct.

He was the storm trooper who Rey mind tricks into letting her go.

Yes, he was the stormtrooper who let Rey go after she jedi mind-tricked him.
You could tell it was Daniel Craig in playing the stormtrooper in that scene. Director JJ Abrams told Craig to "play it like you play Bond" so the armour was made of wood and Craig's interpretation of the role was to play it as the least charismatic trooper in the First Order!
Rumour also has it that the jedi mind trick that Daisy Ridley acts out in the film actually worked on Daniel Craig.
