It's clear somebody buried something on Oak Island, but whether anyone else will ever find it remains ambiguous. Which makes me wonder if whoever buried it in the first place ever expected to return one day and retrieve it. With so many safeguards preventing discovery, how could they hope to get past what no one in centuries has been able to do, even after spending fortunes very possibly greater than what they're hoping to find? Which then makes me wonder if whatever's there was never meant to be retrieved at all, but to stay buried for all time. Something to ponder...
