Filming has begun.
I can only dream Shane brings back Alan.

Oh Jesus, it was weird enough when Debney just adapted Silvestri's score, but hearing an Ottman rearrangement of it? God damn it.

I'd rather they just go in a new direction. PREDATORS was not a terrible movie but the distraction of the constant Silvestri references only hurt it. Or, for sure, go pay Silvestri! Last time he scored a Shane Black-written project it went very well. His style would definitely suit the clean lines of Black's direction.

(Also check your email, man!)

In the recent All Access interview Silvestri was extremely interested in the prospect of returning; it's presumably only a matter of studios and scheduling.

If Silvestri couldn't return I'd love another John Debney Silvestri-riffing Predators score (which is really the next best thing).

IT WOULD NOT BE A PREDATOR FILM WITHOUT ALAN SILVESTRI SCORING IT.

Brian Tyler... please no thanks

If immediately go Silvestri but if not then Debney. I really liked his Predators score, he used lots of Silvestri but added some really nice flourishes if his own that I liked. Hopefully the film itself is good. I only recognise Munn out of that cast and have never seen her in a film.

I hope Silvestri can return. After the disappointment of The A-Team preventing him from scoring Predators and the ham fisted Debney mishmash that followed, I am not eager for a repeat.

Well, as a director Shane Black have collaborated with both John Ottman and Brian Tyler so the chance of anyone of these two getting the gig is quite high. So if I have to guess then Tyler is probably the one he will work with. But on the other hand if he does indeed hire Silvestri then we fans will be quite happy. But I put my money on Tyler.

I don't think it was exactly Black's choice to work with Tyler the first time.

But was it his choice to work with him again a couple years later on Edge?
