Good to see this. Luc, James and Nick have given us so many great CDs of classic Golden and Silver Age film scores. Congrats gentlemen!

Well said Cody and PFK but I'm only a bit disappointed that only so few collectors have taken the possibility
to congratulate them.

We must be gratefully that Luc Van de Ven (with the help of James) have taken the risks for all the
fine work they have achieved over the years.

So Luc congratulations from your neighbouring country The Netherlands.

Yes indeed ! To see so little interest in this thread is very disappointing. Looking forward to their next collaborative effort, DUEL IN THE SUN. James has already stated he is waiting for artwork approval before a planned release date can be divulged. I hope in the not too distant future the work that Lukas Kendall has done on his own and for Intrada and other labels will also be recognized . And don't forget what Doug Fake has given us with his Excalibur recordings. We owe them all our deepest gratitude.

This is such a beautiful soundtrack. Each disc sound great as stand alone listening experience. The vocals are rich and full. Everyone should have this.

I'm a little surprised there are not more replies to this thread. Maybe 15 years ago Lukas Kendall said he had a theory. When fans don't like something they let you know loud and clear. When fans do like something ...... they don't say anything! I agree with him.

I just checked the original THIEF OF BAGDAD thread: 474 replies! 45,636 views! .... So fans DID show excitement and gratitude about the THIEF OF BAGDAD 2 CD set! smile

Now there's a little devil seated on one of Luc's shoulders, saying, "Go out on a high .... that James Fitzpatrick is talking about retiring .... without Nic, you'll need a new orchestra or conductor .... it's all downhill from here..."

And there's another little voice from the other shoulder saying, "No ... Look at your legacy: You are the last bastion. All that Fitzpatrick guy needs is a reason to go on .... you mustn't stop now .... "

And it's all your fault James.
