Yep they certainly are stupid, the electrical TV industry is a racket, that could be even bigger than the mobile phone industry, apple phones, products are a racket, so are similar brand names. I own a I phone 5 & its still very good, its all I need.
I have a B & O TV 40 Inch, HDD 3D Beo-Vision 11, I've had it at least 18 months, & i will have it for at least another 7-8 years easy. the TV picture is fine, & the TV performs very well even at a low volume level, a lot of depth, a lot of these 4k TV's at the moment are cheap as chips, so it tells me some think, there limited, built like a egg-shell, & prone to defect's, the amount they build & line's there churning out there's to many TV'S around, 8k might be better, but I wouldn't bet on it, VR gaming & other new devices that will screw your telly up, there trying to be to technical, for easy money, but not my money.
