And not necessarily for the reasons you might think – blood, guts, gore, etc., - more like envy.
“The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” was showing a couple nights ago while I was eating my supper of baked chicken and sautéed kale. Do you remember the scene at Peter’s Place in the film? Saturday night and all the cowboys were there for supper. Peter, Nora and Hallie were throwin’ around steaks big enough to make “Chet Ripley” choke.
Well while I’m at it, I guess “The Great Outdoors” could qualify as well.
Any others?

It's a noodle western that will make you hungry and spew your food laughing.
The vignette with the mother dying after cooking dinner will make you laugh and cry at the same time. The English have very dry humor. The Japanese have very weird humor.

If you like pasta dishes, but do not have access to them at the time, The Godfather can drive you drooling with desire - especially when Clemenza instructs Michael in his secret spaghetti sauce recipe.

I haven't seen the film, but from the title... BABETTE'S FEAST.

Oh...YES! Babette's Feast (1987) is definitely not a film to watch on an empty stomach! Another one is Big Night (1996), with Tony Shalhoub, Stanley Tucci, Ian Holm, and a pile of other stars. The food in this movie makes you wish you were there, eating!

Between CHEF and THE HUNDRED-FOOT JOURNEY, 2014 was a very hungry summer.

There's a weird 1972 movie called "Voices of Desire" (no credited composer) that opens with a naked woman using fruit to caress herself.

Avoid if hungry. If you catch my drift.
