This brand new score by Vladimir Cosma will be released on the 7th of April whilst the film starring Pïerre Richard will come out on the 12th of April:
The track-listing is not known yet but since there was not enough music to fill the entire CD with it (approx. half an hour), the 2d half has been filled with tracks from previous Pierre Richard movies.
Additionally, if you like cover versions, several tracks by Cosma and other great composers are available on this new CD, the 3d one to be published by the talented Ciné Trio (piano, violin and oboe/English horn) :
15 tracks but actually only 14 because the song Vieni qui (again!) is an oldie from LA RIVALE (73). And let's hope the Christine vocal is not lifted up straight from LE RETOUR DU GRAND BLOND but is a new song.
The bonus tracks 16 to 23 are taken from the following Pierre Richard movies: LE JOUET, JE SUIS TIMIDE...MAIS JE ME SOIGNE, LA MOUTARDE ME MONTE AU NEZ & LA COURSE A L'ECHALOTE.
A short notice to tell you that the CD which was postponed to the 28th of April is readily available in the meantime. Christine is alas the track from LE RETOUR DU GRAND BLOND and Pierre mène l'enquête is nothing but Le déménagement from CONFIDENCES POUR CONFIDENCES. Besides, if you listen carefully, you might recognize old tunes in the material arranged especially for this soundtrack...
Cosma came up with a short comment in the CD: "Pierre Richard me manquait depuis quelques années. Grâce à la comédie de Stéphane Robelin, nous voici à nouveau réunis; Après la flûte de pan du GRAND BLOND..., le saxo sopranino du DISTRAIT ou la kena de LA CHEVRE, j'accompagne le duo Pierre-Alex par le duo harmonica-cymbalum."
All in all a short but very pleasant album offering comedy music in the manner of the 70's.
