VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS---new trailer released for the sci fi movie.
Also, Dane DeHaan said Luc Besson hopes to make two sequels, “Well I think Luc would like to make other ones. Really we just want people to be excited about this one and go see this one and then I think we take it from there. He’s talked about making at least two more, if he can, if people like [the first movie] and go see it. That’s the plan.”

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI---a source said Justin Theroux (THE LEFTOVERS) will have a cameo in the sequel, "Theroux will be playing “an expert slicer” and we’re hearing he has a pivotal moment. His costume is pretty interesting as well. Imagine Indiana Jones’ white tuxedo from Temple of Doom but weirder and with a Star Wars twist. Theroux’s character wears a white tuxedo style jacket over a black suit. His sequences fit into the casino section of the film where we saw Dubrovnik exteriors shot last year..."
The source added, "We have heard there was an explosion during a sequence shot on the “casino” set at Pinewood and perhaps Justin Theroux plays a part in that. It isn’t immediately clear if he’s a good guy or a villain but he is dressed rather well to say the least."
THE LAST FULL MEASURE---Grant Gustin (THE FLASH) will co-star in this Vietnam War movie as Pararescue Jumper William Pitsenbarger who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor after being killed in action. The plot involves a Pentagon investigator who teams up with Vietnam vets to persuade Congress to award the Medal of Honor to Pitsenbargar. Sebastian Stan, Christopher Plummer, William Hurt and Samuel L. Jackson also star.
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 6---the sequel cast was announced: Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Cavill, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris, Sian Brooke and Vanessa Kirby. Jeremy Renner is not returning apparently due to schedule conflicts.
BLACK LION---Andrew Garfield (HACKSAW RIDGE) is the star/producer of this biomovie about combat journalist Carlos Mavroleon who discovered a link between Pakistan and Al-Qaeda and the Taliban and then was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a Pakistani motel room.
NASTY WOMEN---Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson star in this all-female remake of the 1988 comedy movie DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS that starred Michael Caine and Steve Martin. Chris Addison (VEEP, DOCTOR WHO) is the director.
SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING---a rumor says Gwyneth Paltrow will return as Pepper Potts in HOMECOMING.
Also, producer Amy Pascal, former Sony Pictures head, said Spider-Man may exit the Marvel Cinema Universe after the sequel to HOMECOMING, "One of the things that I think is so amazing about this experience is that you don't have studios deciding to work together to make a film very often. In fact it may never happen again, after we do the sequel. Because Sony, and Disney, and Marvel all decided that the right thing to do was to allow Peter Parker and Spider-Man to be in the MCU and to work with the Marvel guys and have them produce this film."
MILE 22---Mark Wahlberg and director Peter Berg (LONE SURVIVOR, PATRIOTS DAY) reunite for this movie trilogy about a CIA agent in Indonesia who must transport a witness 22 miles to the airport while battling a gauntlet of crime lords and crooked cops.
EL CHAPO---Sony Pictures wants Michael Bay as producer and possibly director of this movie based on the book HUNTING EL CHAPO about the DEA's pursuit of the Mexican drug lord.
HUMANS---AMC renewed the series for Season 3.
SANTA CLARITA DIET---Netflix renewed the series for Season 2.
BRONCO BELLE---Natalie Portman stars in this movie about an ordinary woman who wants to be a champion bull rider.
RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET: WRECK-IT RALPH 2---Walt Disney Studios announced the sequel is underway.
UGLY DOLLS---Robert Rodriguez (SIN CITY) will direct the animated movie based on the toy line.
AMERICAN HORROR STORY---Billy Eichner has joined the cast for Season 7.
