There were some great behind the scenes 'making of' documentaries from this period -- Phillip Schuman's coverage of "Raiders," John Toll's 35mm footage behind the scenes on "E.T.," other stuff on "Poltergeist" and "Gremlins" -- I always preferred that gritty, fly-on-the wall approach, rather than the talking heads in a studio setting we tend to get these days. Seeing this inspired me to spin the score again. Lumpy film, great music, wonderful album:

Agreed. I could watch stuff like that forever. I didn't watch the whole video above, but did they talk about the accident?
Awesome find. I assume that interview was taken with Landis did before he was involved in the deaths of three people. I doubt he did much press after that. I also believe that his was the first segment to be shot. Some rare set footage of Vic Morrow there.
I met Dante a few years ago, for a longish interview, and it's great to see his early "nerd" qualities at display here. We also talked a bit about Goldsmith and TWILIGHT ZONE.
