True I said we'd be on spring break but we were able to squeeze a smaller reissue in. It's an expanded reissue of a mid 80s horror score. It's expanded by around 15 minutes and has been remixed from the 24 track elements so now you can hear a level of detail you couldn't before. From the same team that brought another horror film that is in a our catalog from a year earlier
I would say definitely not FRIGHT NIGHT. MV just confirmed in another thread that LaLa wanted to do a score and Songs reissue, but the Perseverance song Album stopped that. So i couldn't imagine it could be this. Also, the previous release was quite complete, wasn't it? The only downside was the sub-par quality of the majority of the material.
I put my money on FROM BEYOND. Same team as RE-ANIMATOR, from staff to actors. One year later.
I'm very familiar with both the film and La La Land CD of "From Beyond" and I can't think of anything missing from that excellent release (which was also expanded from a previous LP release and included music that wasn't used in the movie). It is out of print, however, and it matches the clues pretty well.
It also sounds like it could be a reissued and remastered/expanded "Mutant" (1984), one of Band's very best scores and one in serious need of an Intrada rescue (the early 1990s Intrada of it has been out of print for many years, and the last release from Perseverance had awful sound).

I second MUTANT. It's actually one of the best thematic horror scores ever in my opinion. I love it!
