I just noticed on this week's episode that Blake is receiving main title credit on Arrow.
I watch all four DC shows on the CW - Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow.
I think he's hitting home runs on a weekly basis with these shows.
Well done sir.
And last week's musical crossover was especially fun. Great stuff I think.

He's had main title credit on Arrow since the very first episode.

He's not writing... all of these scores.

He's probably more like a supervisor who approves and touches up all the episode scores composed by his staff.

He's also currently credited for writing music for Riverdale and Blindspot. There's no way he's writing six shows by himself. He has a very talented team of assistants.

I find that the music in the DC shows works absolutely fine in context but doesn't tend to sustain a soundtrack album (aside from the pilots, which clearly got more attention and an orchestra).

I crash-landed into Neely's CW scores and Blindspot last year and fell hard for them. Particularly Arrow and Blindspot. I'm really hoping that the trend will continue and these latest seasons' scores will get a release!

Can't say I've really noticed or been impressed with his work outside of those shows, but I love them.

If it's true that there's a team of people behind him, I think it kinda sucks that their names aren't credited.

Also, the musical crossover last week with Supergirl and The Flash was mostly successful I think. My dream of seeing Grant Gustin, Melissa Benoist, Jesse Martin, Victor Garber, John Barrowman, Carlos Valdez, and some surprising others show off their talents was a lot of fun.

I'm pretty sure they are in some way. Maybe not in the opening/closing titles, but otherwise "additional music" or somesuch I've heard he's very generous with crediting his team.

Gustin sounded seriously dubbed to me. Everyone else sounded like their voices, but GG just stood out like Marty McFly singing Johnny B Goode. If it is his voice, then he really changes it.

He sure dances well, though. This episode wasn't as bad as I expected, "I'll Be Your Super Friend" was funny, but really, the charm was in Melissa Benoist as Supergirl. Too bad her own show is - well - awful. She's adorable.

Blake Neely is a masterpiece!
He is actually my second favorite tv composer (right behind Christophe Beck`s Buffy work).
Been listening to all his superhero soundtracks for years now. Specially his Arrow and Flash work.
He creates so many great themes for the characters and their relationships.
My favorite one (and I am absolutely obsessed with this one!) is the
I Forgot Who I Was / Own Worst Enemy / Oliver Meets William theme from Arrow.

In fact, according to my last.fm, I`ve listened to "I Forgot Who I Was" 1424 times since it`s release! haha! big grin

His Arrow, Flash, Legends and Supergirl soundtracks for this year will be released in October.
Can`t wait!

So this Season on Blake's Industry of Arrowverse scores, there are co-composer credits. Makes me wonder if these guys were always involved?
I mean it's physically impossible for one man to score 7 shows himself right?
Or maybe I underestimate the man's talents.
Either way, loving every minute of Supes, Legends, Arrow and Flash this year.

I wish the booklet (or something) could tell us about who score what. Would be interesting!

I love this years releases as well!
A tiny bit let down by The Flash release. But I already knew this cause this is the first season where there hasn't been any particular cues I was really waiting for. My favorites are Arrow and Supergirl this year.

And I'm obsessed with the last two minutes of "Young Ray and Gumball" from the Legends CD!!
