OBI-WAN KENOBI---Ewan McGregor commented again on returning as Obi-Wan Kenobi, “There’s no official offer, and I haven’t met them about it or anything. But I’ve always said that I’d be happy to do it if they wanted to do it. It would be a good segue between the last episode of the prequels and the new episodes. I think they’ve got films to make until the 2020s, so I don’t think it’s going to happen soon if it happens at all.”

JURASSIC WORLD 2---Chris Pratt commented on the sequel and its director, "Aw man, J.A. Bayona? Do you know that filmmaker? He’s a remarkable filmmaker. If you haven’t seen THE IMPOSSIBLE or A MONSTER CALLS, I mean he’s really visually masterful. Deep emotions and suspense. I think it’s going to be a scarier version. A little bit darker and will continue to expand and carry the story forward in a way that is really unexpected and you wouldn’t have imagined."

PHILIP K. DICK'S ELECTRIC DREAMS---Steve Buscemi, Greg Kinnear and Mirielle Enos have joined the cast of the Amazon sci fi anthology series. Buscemi will play a man who helps a beautiful synthetic woman in her illegal plan. Kinnear and Enos will play the parents of a young boy who must protect his mother after aliens have replaced his father during an alien invasion.

DEADWOOD---Ian McShane updated the status of the tv movie sequel to the miniseries by saying creator David Milch's “two-hour movie script’s been delivered to HBO…if they don’t deliver [a finished product], blame them.”

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2---director James Gunn said VOL. 3 will have a different team than VOL. 2, "It means it’s the end of this iteration of the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. Yeah."

FAST & FURIOUS 9---Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson have reportedly agreed to return for the next sequel. Kurt Russell said he's receptive to returning for the sequel.

ADAM SANDLER---Netflix said in its quarterly report that its viewers have watched over half a billion hours of Sandler movies, "... we announced the renewal of our deal with Sandler to premiere an additional four films exclusively on Netflix around the world. We continue to be excited by our Sandler relationship and our members continue to be thrilled with his films. Since the launch of The Ridiculous 6, Netflix members have spent more than half a billion hours enjoying the films of Adam Sandler.”

MARIE COLVIN---Rosamund Pike (GONE GIRL) will star in this untitled biomovie about combat journalist Marie Colvin who was killed in a 2011 Syrian rocket attack.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY---creator Ryan Murphy said he's planning a crossover between the MURDER HOUSE and COVEN seasons and plans to ask Jessica Lange to return.

THOR: RAGANAROK---director Taika Waititi said he appears in the sequel as Korg, a giant stone man.

AQUAMAN---Yahya Abdul-Mateen II confirmed he will play Black Manta in the superhero movie.

PATRIOT---Amazon renewed the series for Season 2.

MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE---Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said there are no plans for R-rated movies.

DOCTOR WHO---David Bradley (HARRY POTTER) is rumored to be returning to play The First Doctor in the Christmas special.
