JURASSIC WORLD 2---Jeff Goldblum is returning to the franchise as Ian Malcolm. Producer Frank Marshall said, "I’m excited to have him back. The world has changed a lot since Ian Malcolm went to Jurassic Park and we need his point of view now more than ever. He told us about chaos theory, he was right."
Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ted Levine, James Cromwell, Geraldine Chaplin and BD Wong also star.
Also, Kevin Lane spoke about his role in the sequel, “I read for two parts, and ended up getting the role of ‘submarine pilot’, which was the role I wanted as it is quite an epic scene. So I should have a nice cinematic moment on screen in a massive studio film. Filming starts in May [so] hopefully I’ll be in one of their amazing contraptions, pretending that there’s dinosaurs around me. I’ve never worked with CGI before so it’s fun and challenging. But I can now say to people ‘You know there’s no dinosaur there right?'”

INDIANA JONES 5---Walt Disney Pictures announced the latest sequel starring Harrison Ford and directed by Steven Spielberg will premiere on July 10, 2020.

STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE---Paul Blake, who played Greedo, said he had another shoot-out scene with Harrison Ford that was deleted, "... I was the Rodian in that, that’s right. And in fact there’s a brilliant little sequence which I loved doing with Harrison [Ford], where we were shooting at each other like cowboys and Indians. We had this big gun battle which lasted all morning and then Stormtroopers came out of the big double doors and we started firing at them. So we had this fantastic scene and of course that’s all gone. But I’m sure George [Lucas] has got that all at Skywalker Ranch."

STARLIGHT---Sylvester Stallone is the lead candidate to star in this 20th Century Fox movie based on the Mark Millar comic book about Duke McQueen, a retired intergalactic hero, who is called back into action.

GEMINI MAN---Will Smith is in negotiations to star in this sci fi movie about an aging assassin who is targeted by a clone of himself when he was 25 years younger. Ang Lee is the director, and Jerry Bruckheimer is the producer.

COWBOY NINJA VIKING---Chris Pratt commented on the status of the movie based on the comic book, "It’s still in development. It’s definitely no joke. We’ve got a deal and we’re moving forward. It’s going to be [with] Universal. It’s going to be really, really fantastic … We don’t have a director. It’s together, it’s being put together. But we’re in the process of talking to directors.”

THE WEEK OF---Netflix comedy movie starring Adam Sandler and Chris Rock in which the daughter of Sandler's character is marrying the son of Chris Rock's character.

BADLANDS--AMC renewed the series for Season 3.

BLONDE AMBITION (2018)---Madonna criticized the Universal Pictures biomovie about her early years as a struggling singer, "Nobody knows what I know and what I have seen. Only I can tell my story. Anyone else who tries is a charlatan and a fool. Looking for instant gratification without doing the work. This is a disease in our society."

PANDEMONIUM---Sony Pictures' Tristar biomovie underway about WWE founder Vince McMahon.

Indy 5 delayed until 2020? Such a shame.... I was hoping it would be delayed longer than that.

30 years or so would be ok.
