Our household had a nasty, unwelcome visitor two weeks ago. It may be finally ready to leave. The flu paid us a visit. I got hit and then my daughter. Wow, I am just getting back on my feet and my daughter is still down for the count.
Admittedly, I didn't get a flu shot this year and it's the first time I've gotten it in about 12 years. Add to that the fact that I have a kid with an autoimmune disease and no immune system at present. Grrrrrrrrr.
One good thing? I had lots of good music to keep me occupied.
Hope that plague leaves soon. About 9 years ago I forgot to get my flu shot, and the flu whapped me. It was horrible. I did see a doctor who immediately put me on Tamiflu pills which helped a bit. Haven't missed a shot since then. Hope hubby is cooking you all lots of chicken soup.

Thanks joan. I am back at work but daughter is still home. Ironically, my employer gives free flu shots en masse but working from home has made me very lazy about getting in there. I can't dispute the effectiveness of a flu shot.
Hubby did very well with the BRAT diet. He makes a mean chicken soup btw.
