I've been exploring more of Alfred Newman's music in recent months, as I didn't really much by him in my collection, even after 30+ years of this hobby. I have the Gerhardt-conducted album, which is fantastic, and picked up some stand-alone scores such as How Green Was My Valley, Leave Her To Heaven and David & Bathsheba. I am wondering what other album collections of his music are worthwhile? I know there are several out there and available.

I just realized I hadn't checked out the Gerhardt album...going to have to correct that soon.

I like Man of Galilee, though it isn't exactly pristine.
