THE FLASH---the three top candidates to direct the superhero movie are Sam Raimi (SPIDER-MAN), Robert Zemeckis (FORREST GUMP) and Matthew Vaughn (X-MEN: FIRST CLASS). However, a source said Raimi is no longer interested in directing THE FLASH. Also, Billy Crudup (ALIEN: COVENANT) who plays Barry Allen's father in JUSTICE LEAGUE, reportedly isn't interested in returning for THE FLASH.

LOVECRAFT COUNTRY---HBO horror anthology series underway about a black man who seeks his missing father in the 1950s and encounters racism and supernatural horrors. Jordan Peele (GET OUT) is the director.
THE NEW POPE---the new HBO series will be the second season of THE YOUNG POPE, but Jude Law is not involved.
