Just picked up this puppy for $1.99 at my Local Streetlight Records. Will listen to it probably tomorrow. Does anyone have it or would like to share what it's like. It it good? The film stars Ron Moody and Jack Wild, a few years after OLIVER and came out in 1971. It was directed by Ralph Nelson who directed LILIES OF THE FIELD. Thanks.

Well here's a suite I found on youtube. I guess it's pleasant enough. Your thoughts?

Roy Budd never did a crap score Zoob. All his scores were top notch. Mean and moody, rousing or gentle, his themes were always constructed brilliantly. From memory this has a lovely main theme and some very listenable music all through. The irish-style fiddle wasnt my cup of tea but it fitted the film. But being a keyboard player, Budd's piano writing was always a cut above.

When the film came out first I thought it was awful, (not Roy Budd's music though!) now whenever I watch it on TV I enjoy it a lot, lol!
