Despite being called an MGM Treasury this legendary Film Score Monthly Box is actually more a United Artist’s Treasury than MGM. In 2008 FSM premiered the release of 17 UA scores that only had been released on UA LPs and added three, THE HILLS RUN RED and HORNET’S NEST by Ennio Morricone and PUSSYCAT, PUSSYCAT I LOVE YOU by Lalo Schifrin, that NEVER had been released anywhere. Also, Michel Legrand’s beautiful Oscar nominated THE HAPPY ENDING was heavily expanded. After this box sold out many of these titles were released individually but many of these have now disappeared:
