I just listened to the "new" Philippe Sarde score for RODIN and if you've got ENNEMIS INTIMES, you've already heard a better version of the score.

There is some new material interspersed here & there but it's mostly a reworking of themes from previous work.

Very unfortunate.

I donĀ“t have the RODIN CD yet and have only listened to the sound clips on Amazon France today. The first thing which i have noticed is that the main theme which appears in track 1, 5 and 9 is a variant of the one from ALICE ET MARTIN. It is almost the same theme, only a few notes seem to have been changed.
On the other hand, in track 3, 4 and 6 I also hear those reworkings of ENNEMIS INTIMES you mention above. Are these the only three tracks where ENNEMIS INTIMES has been reused or are there even more in the complete RODIN score?

Stefan,

Your ear is keener in picking out the Sarde themes from prior scores than mine. I immediately recognized ENNEMIS INTIMES because it is one of my favorite scores by him. I only got to hear it on my way to work so I can't comment in more detail. I'll leave it to you to give the details once you've heard the whole score.
