This is wonderful. First of all because it`s a super lovely never before released score on CD and secondly because that series continues in a great way.
This will be great, IF it ditches the dialogue from the prior LP releases.
Previous releases were storyteller. (Songs and Dialog) to my knowledge there's never been a score release. If it's just the storyteller, it would be the biggest disappointment ever.

Exactly. This will be the first release in the Legacy Collection that hasn't had a prior all-score/song CD as a starting point.

THIS! Let's suspend all this "fantastic!", "cool!" and wait until we see the track-list... 'Cause history (Internet) will save our first reaction for ever
Obviously, strange things happen, but I would be very surprised if Disney released a storybook CD in this day and age (they're vestiges of the pre-video age).
They do still occasionally market read-along CDs that come with books, but they are very clearly marked as such. And why would that be in this series, anyway?
This is not only exciting unto itself, but raises my optimism about the potential for releases finally of The Sword in the Stone, Song of the South, So Dear to My Heart, and the many omnibus classics. I choose to believe this Robin Hood is going to be the real deal.

Another thing dawned on me. When they first released the Legacy Collection didn't they announce the first "batch" at the same time? So maybe when Robin Hood is released we will find out what else they have planned for the rest of the year.
