Playing this CD now. If you ever wondered how Rombi would tackle a horror score, this is as close as you could get. Some serious disturbed sounds in certain tracks. I think the Rombi of old has gone. He's morphed, as a composer, to suit the times, and as a result, that lovely, flowing, lyrical, symphonic music he used to throw out with gay abandon has been replaced by the modern template we love/hate. There are some moments of minimal quiet beauty here though. Maternite is quite nice and the last track is almost like his take on Vangelis/Tears In Rain. Track 5 & 12 could almost be from BR2049. The tracks are all a bit too short though. It's fine with the scary stuff, but the more dreamy cues maybe could have been extended? There's only about 20 minutes of Rombi on the CD, with songs and additional composer score tracks taking up the other 10 minutes.
