Do any of you boys direct an ear toward The Archers?
I was a big fan, listened to it from around 1970 unto a few years ago, when they had a storyline about an evil husband driving his wife mad, it didn't make easy listening & went on for far too long, & I sort of got out of the habit of listening to it. I have been watching Eastendes, I have to watch it when I visit my mother, as she's addicted to it, but when I watch it, it's for all the wrong reasons...it's terrible, no logic, lots of loose ends & everyone who lives in the square is so stupid they're nearly brain dead. Come to think about it, it is quite fun.

I was in a bar, and the holland england game was on.
Since sven made a mockery of them i dont bother with friendlies as a rule. I mustve looked up at the tv about a dozen times. It looked like two fairly drab and uninspiring teams.

Reading get a new manager - that's not good for us. Was hoping they'd continue to drop like a stone. I'm sure they'll rally.

Fairly slow pace in the england italy friendly.
We do seem to think friendlies mean a lot yet our oppo usually treat them as a stroll about practice match that doesnt matter if they lose it.
Watched about 15 mins, england are 1 up but i havent seen italy test us yet.
